This is a beautiful vintage Lowden S5 model from 1982. It has a rectangular beige interior label. Guitars with this label were built between 1980-1985 in a small Japanese workshop by S. Yairi under license to George Lowden. Approximately 1000 guitars were made per year. This guitar has serial number 2302 which means that it was made in 1982. The guitar has a big and full sound and is very comfortable to play with its soft V neck shape. This model is characterized by the rosewood pickguard, tortoise binding and tuners with pearloid buttons, all of which can still be found on this guitar.
